Management Surveys
A management survey is used to locate, so far as reasonably practicable, the presence and extent of any suspect asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) in the building or site which could be damaged or disturbed during normal occupancy, including foreseeable maintenance and installation, and to assess their condition. This is the standard survey required to establish a property’s base compliance and compile an initial register.
Refurbishment and Demolition (R&D) Surveys
An intrusive, destructive inspection required before any refurbishment, structural work, or demolition can take place. This survey is designed to locate all ACMs within the fabric of the building, including wall cavities, underfloor voids, ducting, and within structural pillars. Conducting this survey ensures contractors can operate safely without accidentally disturbing hidden asbestos.
Localised and Targeted Surveys
